I would argue print marketing materials are more important now than ever before. The reality is if you aren’t incorporating some sort of print materials into your marketing strategy, you’ll likely lose business to those who are. Studies show consumers like to have something tangible when they leave a meeting or showing. It also leaves a stronger impression after they’ve moved on with their day.
Professionalism will matter more and more as we go into the later summer/early fall, and print materials amplify that you are a professional with a clear value proposition. They also show you’ve taken time to create collateral that aligns with your business and brand, and that you take pride in your work.
One of my favorite pieces of marketing is a handwritten note. Consumers LOVE to receive handwritten, thoughtful notes and it creates a connection right off the bat. Whatever you can do to wow consumers and consistently remind them that you are the professional they should work with is well worth the time, energy, and money.
Keep in mind, print marketing is often a marathon. It may take months to see ROI. Stay the course and don’t let up.
